NOMAD_
NOMAD is currently, and weirdly, my longest running project of my own volition, that accidentally turned into a real job for over a decade. I typically NEVER stay with anything I create for that long.
But here is the story; I started making, sorry about the expression but, random stuff, in Second Life a long, long time ago. For a 3D artist such as myself, Second Life is actually a fun platform to work on, because your 3D assets can actually have a real use for players there. It is easy to deploy and trade, and with some LSL (Second Life's own scripting language) you can add useful features to your stuff, such as clickable buttons that DOES stuff, sounds, animated parts, etc.
Somewhere in late 2014, I made nixie tube clocks that actually works, animated arcade game backpacks, a tentacle-themed arcade game, and tons of other quirky things along the same line, which collectively came to be known as my virtual world store, "NOMAD". It started out as a hobby that eventually outcompeted my "RL" job.
The name "NOMAD" is a word I identified with on a personal level. I have been an avid traveller both in real life, but also in design and experimentation.
